To be fair I actually agree with him, McGrath was excellent. Has had a pretty average career for a #1 up until this year, but he's in the AA side if it was picked today.

It's not that he gave McGrath best, it's that he didn't give Merrett a single vote.

It's like the 2013 Rising Star Award where Ollie Wines came third and didn't get a single vote (from 1 to 5) from Ling. He even gave Aaron Mullett a vote.

PS McGrath was excellent.

Train drivers have called off a strike during next week's AFL Showdown between Port Adelaide and the Adelaide Crows after reaching an "in principle" agreement over a pay dispute.

The Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) had threatened a 24-hour stoppage on May 2 aimed at forcing private train contractor Keolis Downer (KDA) to improve its pay offer. The union had been demanding a 20 per cent pay rise over four years, but had only been offered an increase of 14.7 per cent over the same period.
Following a lengthy emergency meeting on Friday, the RTBU has negotiated a draft two-year deal — a 5 per cent pay increase in the first year and 4 per cent in the second year.

Didn’t hear a peep out of this arsehat in Round 1 when West Coast kicked that goal against us in the first quarter.

BTW, Byrne-Jones did mark that within the field of play as another camera angle showed.

That was a shocker.

I was sitting where this happened and it was absolutely out of bounds. I'm not sure what there is to get upset about here, we absolutely did get the rub of the green last night. It doesn't always happen but it happened last night.

We get Adelaide in front of their home crowd then Geelong in front of theirs so I guarantee the universe will balance out - and then some - over the next two weeks

Out of interest, for those in the know. What’s a reserve seat at AO cost?

Living in Sydney and looking at heading to the Carlton game with a mate. Cheapest reserve seat is $70, and it’s a terrible seat.

Parallax and all that, but even at that angle it's not clear that the ball was fully across the boundary line when he marked it.
