"If you play four quarters of 120 minutes-plus of football and the teams can be split, (a draw) is a fitting outcome for the home-and-away season."

Added time is only used AFL finals.

I was going to say that the tiebreaker should be the proximity of the club's home ground to the G, but I guess it's the same thing.

For those with Fox/Kayo take the time to watch Garry Lyon's assessment of that farcical series of events on Friday night and the AFLs disgraceful response in tonight's On the Couch segment.

It's rightfully harsh and straight to the point.

If Cameron had a twing in his hamstring he would have been straight off, rather than risk a full tear. But after falling from 6 feet on to his head, he stays on.

Lyon's question is spot on:

'When did the hamstring become more important in the AFL than the brain?'

The AFL and the Geelong Football Club are absolutely taking this piss with the way they handled this.

The rules behind the HIA assessment and more importantly the attitudes at the top of the AFL and its clubs need to change.
