I love how their arrogant supporters have joined bandwagon so quickly. Talking up the “baby bombers” like it didn’t happen 30 years ago.

I have them at 13 wins for the season, so that draw may be very useful for them.

I don't think they've been the higher ranked team in any of their finals losses in that time. It's not so much that they've failed in finals per se, it's more that they've just never been good enough to be a team that wins finals. Memes aside, our finals record is worse.

I just can't watch footy any more. It just doesn't hold my interest. The contrived nature, shit rules, worse commentary, the footy TV shows, VicBias, the absolute idiots masquerading as journalists.... I just can't do it any more.

I don’t know, I’m with him, I turned off after 10 mins and watched Netflix last night. Minimal interest in games, boring. TV shows just Vic wankfest and SEN even worse listening weekly talk about MCG entitled to everything as it’s amazing.

Collingwood's injuries aside, those other teams have hardly covered themselves in glory at various points this year. Just last week Melbourne lost by 15 goals and the Bulldogs were spanked on their home deck this weekend.

I was thinking back to our sanfl days and I never watched any team play but Port. I just didn't care enough about Glenelg, Norwood, Sturt etc to watch them. If Port weren't on the replay (as it was back then) I did something else.

Having all these other teams rammed down our throats is a V/AFL construct and I'm over it too. If a game is exciting I'll have a look in but if it's the daily borefest most games are these days, count me out. The other elements you mention are all factors too.

I watch Port, but it's hard with Hinkley still here. We won't win anything with him in charge, yet the people who run our club can't see it and bank on our rusted on support.
