We've consistently seen across Hinkley's tenure that the answer to that question is no.
Unfortunately, yes.

Because we legitimately have a list that could win the flag this year. If we had a better coach everyone on here would believe why not us.How did we smash the Bulldogs again only a month ago?
Bergman looks good.Yeah but they did get Fischer McAsey
We were keen on Day, but he went the pick before ours.
I'm happy with Bergman all the same.
Bergman looks good.
Reads the play well.
Gets good field position
Rebounding defender
Quiet decent by foot stationary or running with the footy.
Dont like him to deap in defence.he cant rebound
This is what kills me. Just as happened after the trio of Lions-Saints-WB games, I find myself having gone from fury to apathy to simmering optimism after the Suns-Tigers-Blues run. I try to suppress any hope, but I can’t help but imagine what if we get on an almighty run and win the next four. We have the players to do it, especially in the midfield and backline. Moreover, if Marshall could find some form, then the prospect of Ratugolea providing a more durable gorilla presence than Dixon alongside of Rioli and Georgiades, gives us some teeth up forward.Because - as much as people hate to admit it - we are a good side, as good as any around us and you don't have to be much off your game to get rolled.
We are better placed than this time last year, but who knows what will happen this year?
We can win every one of our upcoming games, but can we consistently bring the football we brought for 3 quarters on Friday night?
We could win it all. We just need Hinkley to be unavailable in September. Josh Carr needs to go all Tonya Harding and get us there. This is what kills me. Alas, that hope has quickly been extinguished time and time again over the past 12 years. Inevitable reality checks are only 1, 2 or three weeks away, and we’ll be falling down the roller coaster again.
Adelaide won't be thinking that in round 20-somethingCrows just making sure they have that top 5 draft pick.
Hawks still have finals to gun for.

Good to see Curtin get a run for the Crows.Needs to be given a go.Freo sniffing around on Curtin.
Whenever my dog does that, it doesn't end well.
