I don't mind Berg deep in defence, becasue he can clear the ball two kicks away from goals.

Moreover, if Marshall could find some form, then the prospect of Ratugolea providing a more durable gorilla presence than Dixon alongside of Rioli and Georgiades, gives us some teeth up forward.

Alas, that hope has quickly been extinguished time and time again over the past 12 years. Inevitable reality checks are only 1, 2 or three weeks away, and we’ll be falling down the roller coaster again.

My strategy is to back to the past and dig out that old saying Take it one week at a time.

When we win I enjoy it, when we lose I seethe for a while and wait for Ken's downfall, be disappointed, then move on.
