Great first half of footy.Hawks where the better side in the second.Exspecting a few more momentum swings in this game.
Cant see us beating either of these teams ,next week.Unless the loser of this match gets beaten up in the second half

Dogs, yes.

Hawks, nope.

Hence why I'm hoping dogs win

Entertaining watching the Hawks take risks and show belief. Sigh. Close game still but pretty much a no-lose scenario for their group.

Some 2002-2003 “irrelevant semi final” vibes about next week but of course as a full decade of #fai#fails far worse than that trauma ever was.

Heresy, but having blown last night so badly are we better off as a club losing again SO embarrassingly that we absolutely must end once and for all the Hinkley culture and rid ourselves of all its enablers? Because I cannot in all conscience see us winning three in a row against “conscious coaching” :(

Sam Mitchell as a player and coach knows how to play the MCG better then any person I have ever seen

You can definitely see Mitchell’s fingerprints all over the Hawks game style. As exciting as it is, they still do the fundamentals very well & play with method & purpose when moving the ball forwards.

The entire club is full of enablers. How do they sack each other?
Koch, Ransom, Cardone, Cassisi, Davies, Richardson, Osborne, Restas ...

Tell you what - if the Hawks get past us next week, they won't fear going to Sydney for a preliminary final.
Had DBJ not kicked the most miraculous goal in the regular season, the Hawks would've finished 2nd. Hosted us in the first final and be hosting a home prelim.

They absolutely deserve to get past us, and they will do so easily, so feeling like they belong in a prelim wherever they are shouldn't be a problem.
