The players likenesses are sold as a package by the AFLPA. And then players receive money from that package sale based on how much they're used in AFL marketting. And who gets used in the most AFL marketting?

No wonder players want to be traded to big Melbourne clubs all the time. Getting to play in the big blockbuster games at the MCG, is getting to be involved in more of the AFL's marketting.
