View attachment 2082553The initial contact might not have been high but his head definitely whips forward into the shoulder.

There is 100% high contact.

That screenshot also shows that there was absolutely zero effort to get low and and avoid head high contact.

It’s unlike Houston but he saw and opportunity to lay out Rankine and he took it, with absolutely no regard for Rankine’s head.

That has not been acceptable in AFL footy for a long ****ing time and any effort to suggest otherwise is just ludicrous.

Btw just saw the replay, he’s clearly out before he hits the ground.

I feel like it makes it worse for Houston in terms of being able to mentally get back into the game when all your team mates and coaches are behaving like one of your family members has just died.

Because Horne-Francis took a mark, and the umpires decided to stop the game at that point.

Shouldn’t it be a free to the guy that got hit in the head and knocked back to 1981?

Honest question: I wonder why the head doesn’t then “snap back” like other head high contacts we see?
Stop trying to defend your sniper.

It's a dog act. Accept it and move on.
