The first couple of minutes are going to be really exciting. If Tex and the Fog are going to throw there weight around. There could be some blues early.
Sam Powell Pepper come on down..Sam's had a fantastic season and only knows one way that's 100%.Hope Ken gives Sam a run on the ball sometime this evening.
Remember the first Showdown last year. The first posession Tex got the Port fans allmost booooed the roof of when he touched the footy.

I was kinda looking forward to this, my first game of the year, at the start of the week for the chance to farewell Robbie Gray. Since then the club has set out to completely embarrass itself in the media and i'm toying with the idea of not going.
I'm still going so I can see Robbie play in person one last time, but the club has really set itself up for embarrassment (more than usual) here.

Normally I hate it when the footy season is over, this year I don't give a s**t.

I'll remember 2022 for our lack of effort in the Ebert game and for screwing up Robbie's final game.

Bring on 2024 (assuming Ken is gone).
I've finally gotten over season end, but that's only because it happened in R5.

Got a very late call by my Mum with a spare ticket. Red eye out of Sydney this morning, red eye back tomorrow, sleep is optional this weekend. I counted at least 10 Port supporters on the plane across, and did spy some old school prison bars….

only my second game at Adelaide oval and first showdown since before I left Adelaide. I will never move back to Adelaide now, but man, it’s good to be home.

Will miss the game entirely. Had booked a dinner for tonight a while back, before they locked in the game time.
It'll be the first home showdown I'll have missed.

Not even that disappointed.

I still think this is just another club stunt to get the disgruntled Port supporters back on board and to take the heat of Donuts Hinkley.

The club and players firing their last shot to endorse the decisions the club is making.
Win, lose or draw tonight, there'll be plenty of turd polishing from Hinkley, Koch, and several other club identities. They'll assure us that we're heading in the right direction - conveniently forgetting to add that if we keep heading in the same direction, we'll disappear over a cliff. Jonas will probably do another on field skipper's speech, where he'll appeal to everyone to "stick with us - we'll come back bigger and better than ever in 2023."

Oh no - I just vomited my lunch all over the carpet...........

Port entitled football department v the crows

Thanks for the embarrassing trash talk this week guys. I’m sure you won’t back it up on the field.

Also - caved in prison bars again. Pathetic.

Dead rubber game - means nothing. Only going to clap Robbie off - now to sit through 3 hours of Hinkleyball for that honour.

Good, we don't need the likes of you as supporters of this great club anyway 'Uncle Neighbour', whoever the hell you may be!

I notice you signed up to BigFooty 4 days before the prelim last year - a bandwagoner if ever there was one!

I think today we need to put the negativity to 1 side no way we want to lose to this plastic franchise twice this yr.
Add to that Robbie's last game pick the negativity back up win lose or draw tomorrow or at the end of the game.
Well that's what I'll be doing.

We should win with nothing on the line but the club may have generated enough pressure to sh!t the bed.

Legitimately couldn't give a shit if we win or lose at this point. Hope Robbie and Marshall combine for 15 goals and that people at the club are upset by Sack Hinkley banners.
