I don't think much of this performance in the first quarter can be blamed on Williams. He is a top class coach, and you would be silly to let him go. I rate him very highly, and he is a proven performer.

Oh dear. Looking uglier than Roseanne singing the national anthem. The players are clearly doing their best for Choco's big day tomorrow.

Let's not forget that Freo, West Coast, Adelaide and Essendon have all been competitive in parts against Geelong.

Irrespective of the fact that we are playing at Skilled, our lack of competitiveness is enough to indicate that Choco is NOT the right coach for us.

So, they're going to re-sign Williams after this?

Yeah, he should be out there making the tackles stick and and manning up a bit.

How can we drop so many players back and not have any pressure near the ball?
Our lack of strength over the ball is embarrassing.

Because your players are guarding space, not realising that if the ball comes into that space you have to be proactive when an opposition player is near the ball. Flood wont work if players are not capable of knowing when to go to a man.

Well I thought our intensity was pretty good for the first 10 minutes, then we gave up.

I think that quarter shows just how shit our midfield depth is. Did we win a single clearance that quarter? They just walked it out of stoppages every single time.

Cant rate the forward line as it only went up there twice. Thought Rodan and Lower were the only two that have broken even so far.

hey guys,

As supporter of the shittest side in the comp, i can sympathise. Although you are playing one of the two best sides in the comp. Port are much better than this but confidence is way down, williams really needs to go.

Funny, last time I checked the wind direction tends not to prevent or assist a team with actually winning the ball.
I'm searching for something at this point.

Now's a good time to reflect on Jack Cahill's time at the club.

Year one, 40 points down against Bulldogs at quarter time. We came back to win.

Looonngg time ago that one.
