Atleast there are some positives coming out of this game and it starts with H and ends with artlett. Kid played an absolute ripper!
Im sure you wont be the only team to lose to GC this year. They have an extremely talented list and will only get better as the season goes on. Hopefully this game fires you up for next weeks

Feeling very hollow, this is worse than 07.

I feel for Pittard, he butchered the kick in that gifted the goal for the lead. Couldn't see on tv but hope some players got around him straight after that.

What was up with Boak today? Didn't see him around too many stoppages... Thought I heard he was passing a fitness test 90 minutes before the bouncedown?
Even though Pittard did "butcher the kick", the reason he was under pressure was the absolute pathetic, piss weak effort by Big Bob to shepherd the guy coming in to tackle.
Bad error by Pittard. Shameful effort by Big Bobette.

Hartlett probs played his best game for the club 2day that he's ever played. Gray and Boak had a couple good moments but i agree with you on them they just went missing. Hartlett and Motlop were Ports best players 2day.
Hartlett scored a 6/10 today. Went missing when the heat got turned up. Just as over-rated as the rest of them. Let them in late in the third quarter with pathetic centre-square turnovers.
With cassisi, salopek, cornes and pearce coming back into the midfield...your team can only get better...its only ROUND 5....not sure why primus benched cornes and pearce....u guys needed them out there.....

Yep, I am pretty much done. I moved heaven and earth to get to this game and had to put up with that.
Supported this club since I was 6 and for the first time I truly, truly no longer want to be associated with the PAFC.
Doubt i will consider myself a port supporter again before the insipid cancer that has infiltrated this club is removed.
Yeah, support through thick and thin and all that, fickle front fronner fan rah di rah rah. I can take being a shit team but I can't take being a shit club.

Up at clare this weekend, but managed to catch the last qtr on tv. Really wish I didn't. Gold coast have improved out of sight since round one but that is no excuse for our lazy, pathetic effort. There's a very good reason why everyone was talking about a showdown let down and we kept to the script with the prescision of a Swiss watch.
We've managed to kill our season and yet again disappoint the supporter base with that insipid effort. Primus has a basket case senior list to work with and I'm now getting to the point where I'm doubting these players can get us anywhere near finals, let alone a premiership. It's almost ironic that we are so pathetic yet we always manage to beat the crows. Grand final indeed.

Once we reverted to type and started beating our chests about not taking Gold Coast lightly and playing with the ANZAC spirit we were pretty much cooked.

I wish I didn't love Port. By the next home game I'll be back. I know it will be sweet when we play in finals or a GF.....if I'm still alive by then
Watched the game today and follow neither club so please treat as the opinion of an unbiased observer.
Thought the Power Midfield & Backline today didn't compete to AFL standard.
Pettigrew needs to stop his shimmy whenever he gets a possession.
Willingness to compete in the air was poor.
Thought Pittard made a number of childish errors throughout the game. Has the talent but needs to pick and choose his moments.
What really stood out was the bickering and arguing between Port players and the selfishness not to commit to the contest. Completely different from the selflessness of the week before.

After the recoccurance of the shit this club serves up on a regular basis I just understand where your coming from ...don't necessarily agree but I understand...
No supporter should have to pay there hard earNed and have this feeling regularly happen..
But I will be back supporting them next week i am just pissed and inconsolable Right now...
