Richmond’s form is ominous. Their last two wins - against opponents we’ve had our hands full with - were very comfortable. It will take our absolute best. I just hope we’re in it from the start and not chasing a 4-5 goal deficit for most of the game.
Looking forward to seeing how Georgiades, Woodcock and Ladhams (up forward especially) go against such good opposition. Also interested in whether Rozee and Gray can find their best. They looked like they were building last game.

Umpires are Justin Power (4), Simon Meredith (21) and Brendan Hosking (16)
Justin Power is either a secret agent or umpire #12 in disguise, amirite?

More confident about this game then some of our others, I think the fact Richmond are definitely good means we don't take it likely.

Big Dix will break this game open.

Get it done Port and let Mabior Chol feel safe in the dressing room.

Bring our across the ground pressure game, force mistakes and put the ball to our big forwards' advantage.

Port by 25

Dixon 4 goals, MG 3, Woodcock a sneaky deuce

Ollie best on

Outs since we last played the Tuggers:

- Bonner
- Broadbent
- S Gray
- Howard
- Motlop
- Westhoff
- Sutcliffe

Ins

- McKenzie
- Leinert
- Georgiades
- Ladams
- Woodcock
- Farrell
- WINES

I'd say those are upgrades. Our entire HF line has been replaced from S Gray, Sutcliffe and Motlop.

I just can't believe some of those names from last year. Hinkley is a way better coach in 2020 than he is in previous years, it's a shame that he has a history of ****ing up almost guaranteed finals position multiple times.

Port win: "They got a depleted Richmond off a 4 day break and having to play away after enduring quarantine hardship in Queensland."

Port lose: "ANOTHER PREMIERSHIP INBOUND FOR THE MIGHTY TIGES!!!"

Last year Geelong were 11-1 and belted us by 70 points. High fives on the bench by Scott, Danger, Ablett and Selwood. They look like they won the premiership.

Peaking too early is definitely a thing.

This game is just 4 points, nothing that happens today will impact finals. I sense people on this board are building this as a season definining, pretender/contender exposing match.

Its not, its just four points. Port have drafted better than any club in the comp the last few years and will continue to reap those rewards.

The big mystery is how lycett and ladhams work together. Personally, I would not have been upset if we had rested lycett for another week - 2 metre peter has been growing before our eyes - I swear he was 2.5 metres at stages in the third against the woof woofs
