That's the only way I see us winning really is dominating the midfield and whacking them early, if they are in the game getting easy over the back goals early we are fukced.

While o agree with the pace of the hawks being a problem, i actually think that going tall is our best chance, because the smalls that would be playing in place of them are average too. Small chance, but if we can win the ball at clearance, get it forward and actually take a mark against their undersize defence we could be in it. If the ball comes to ground they are as much chance of walking it out if we have Marshall or mcentee down there.

I think the Port mids had a bad day, but can turn it around. Through I did expect them to give the cats mids a good spanking last week, Dangerfield and Holmes turned it around. Newcombe isn't dangerfield.

But looking at the outs that Port has from earlier in the season, I can see why none of you are confident. Evans, Ratugolea and Narkle couldn't get a game at Geelong but turned up to try to beat the Cats in a Qualifying final.
