Lobbe instructing Teakle. Now there’s a problem. Lobbe couldn’t even summarise how Essendon are playing this year when asked on radio on Friday. He has no idea how to help him - or our other rucks - improve. I don’t care how intelligent he is in other aspects of life, how quietly spoken or nice. He doesn’t have the expertise or track record to suggest he can educate and advise a successful ruck division. Couple that with Teakle’s lack of natural ruck craft and generally low footy IQ, and it is a recipe for something like this.

Why do we not run with the footy? Rozee marks at half back and stands and waits for Boak to get 20 meters away to chip kick the ball to him.

Same knock I had on Burgoyne last week, im all for going slow out of half back, but take what they give us! Grass is dangerous and if we move the ball quickly we are a chance of getting there before they can set up…
