That's one solution.Could Hurley take Lever's role? Then use Lever in the midfield?
This. Lever and Brown aint playing in the guts in a million years. What is with our club and supporters thinking every one of our players can play through the midfield? It's unrealistic.

Should be talking about what we're going to need to give up when we get Heppel, Neale and Hurley.Brad crouch. Oh you mean for us?
Hurley is great insurance for our forward and backline. Can play both ends all in one excellent footballer.I'm warming to the idea of Hurley. He's definitely not our most desperate need and we should be going all out to get a gun midfielder first.
We are all set for best 22 KPPs... but if one of them goes down who takes their spot? We don't have any KPFs in the SANFL beyond Dear who is really struggling even at that level, and our KPD depth is either raw as hell (Ramsey, Keath) or shot (Otten). We could do with one more on our list, especially one who can play at both ends at the drop of a hat.
Prestia will leave suns to a vic club.
Omeara will leave suns to a vic club.
Swallow will leave suns aswell.
Day still unsigned. Saad aswell.?
Richmond have alot of unsigned players but nobody wants them ;
Vickery, Griffiths, Vlastuin, Deledio, C. Ellis, Astbury, Mcbean.
Eh? We got ROB developing in the SANFL.I'm surprised there isn't more discussion about our ruck situation or is it too early?
Sam Jacobs probably has 3-4 years left. There is no young one really coming through. None of us would want Jenkins as the number one ruckman and besides, he's roughly the same age as Jacobs anyway. And this is all providing Jacobs doesn't go down with injury (touch wood).
Should the club be targetting a young, up and comer to suceed Jacobs or leave it until retirement talk starts?
I find this situation very interesting.
I've seen him mentioned, but never really seen him play. Is he the future? Guaranteed? I've watched a couple of SANFL games but never really noticed him standing out.Eh? We got ROB developing in the SANFL.

2015 AA CHB, gun.
If it'll cost 500k per year, yes can't say no to Hurley. Anything more then nope.
I'd imagine he'd be demanding 600k plus.

I think Haggis Ogilvie has a lot to answer for here. Every 190cm+ key position player he's drafted "could even develop into a midfielder".What is with our club and supporters thinking every one of our players can play through the midfield? It's unrealistic.
Around the ground work and kicking is still a work in progress, but ruck work is very good already.I've seen him mentioned, but never really seen him play. Is he the future? Guaranteed? I've watched a couple of SANFL games but never really noticed him standing out.
I imagine with ROB a lock to be guaranteed to be upgraded next year, he'll take over that Graham/Lowden spot we've had for the past 4 years. As a 19/20 year old he was ranked as the 3rd/4th best ruckman in the SANFL! So yes, he is the future and we also have Hunter who has shown some nice signs as well. So Ruck isn't too much of an issue for our list management.
If theres one player i think we go for off that list its deledio. Pretty sure hes a fa..?Time to add some experience players that are actually good. (better than vb, mackay) Ellis is a bit meh for me. Another underwhelming draft decision by the tigers.Could do a lot worse than have a look at Corey Ellis if he was available at a reasonable cost, very highly regarded in his draft year 2014, reasonable pace, good balance of inside/outside ability....and absolutely elite disposal by foot.
Richmond seem hell bent on making him into a defender, for mine he's best suited to a mid/forward role, think he's way better than he's currently producing at the Tigers.
Always costs a bit more to lure a player from another club..(exception being judas).I think that would be on the lower end of the scale of what he's demanding.
