Good: Darcy Moore gave a great glimpse of the future, used his speed to get into the game and the marking came as his confidence grew
Varcoe has been a star this year, his run and skills were expected but his aggression at the ball and player are a pleasant surprise
Sidey played well

Bad: Fasolo hasnt done much for a number of weeks, even got in the way of others a few times.
Jesse White is not an AFL standard forward

Ugly: I havent seen many players look as out of their depth as Ben Kennedy today.

Disgraceful: The umpires didnt decide the game but they are getting beyond a joke. Is it me or are collingwood opponents given a lifetime to get rid of the ball after being tackled?

Fasolo did some excellent work today. His hands in close set up a number of teammates and he is contesting hard.

My thoughts.

- Fasolo shouldn't be crucified, asked to play tall to cover Cloke's absence and White's inability.

- Moore is something special.

- Oxley is a frontrunner very much in the Seedsman mould. But slower.

- Pendles needs to play inside, in his brief inside stints he broke the game open. I understand we need to develop young inside mids but we also want the most efficient clearance player in the game getting clearances... He will still manage to use his foot skills as an inside mid as he has for years.

- White isn't an extra tall, he cannot mark, as in does not know when to close his hands. Would prefer Gault until Cloke returns when White can play more lead up and not have to go for contested marks.

- Umps cost us momentum a multitude of times in that last qtr, doesn't help but it's frustratingly true.

- Kennedy was bad but I still think we should persist. Clearly has a lot going for him and I think it will come together at AFL level.

- Grundy is our number 1 ruck and needs to play alone, Witts attribute is his height but Blair is a better contested mark. Grundy broke out early in the season in Witts' absence.

**** me dead i cannot stand the people on here the rip Bucks after a few losses.

Where were you f***k wits when we were winning.

its the players not bucks.

Sorry Shade I love Bucks, but playing two Rucks today just like the Port game
are a big X against Bucks and the match committee.

Grundy for me the rest of the year.

Also Reid plays next week.......to all those people who say he isn't ready all I have
to say is a five letter word W....E!

:thumbsu: to Moore today if only he was "ready" to play he might have kicked 17 today

I was busy so i missed the start of the game. Turned it in during the second quarter and first passage of play i saw was a bulldog kick inside 50.....oxley 5m clear of anyone and he dropped the mark. Turned it off and got on with my life. Glad i didnt sit around all weekend watching that tripe

Our win's this year have hardly been anything to rave about, I mean only one of those teams is in the 8, and just.

Brisbane Lions W 74 - 86
St Kilda W 140 - 66
Essendon W 49 - 69
Carlton W 45 - 120
Gold Coast Suns W 63 - 132
North Melbourne W 112 - 95
Melbourne W 85 - 110
GWS Giants W 119 - 77

I have a mostly positive view, we are moving in the right direction and players have won me over, Moore looks like he will be a star in 2-3 years which is fantastic. Crisp, Langdon, Frost, Williams, DeGoey, Grundy are all potential a graders.
What I really want to know is where are the in: Greenwood guys now? He was horrible today and took Crisps position in the guts for a lot of it. Concerned he will stunt his development which has been awesome this year.

That's ok cause we are not in the eight either, our wins and ladder position now is probably a true indication on where this side is at

Moore the big positive.

Do we have the worst tap ruckmen in the league? How did Witts and Grundy struggle against Tom Campbell?
Witts is 2cm shorter than sanderlands in height and about 2km apart in ability.
Sorry to bag our players, but our big men, Witts. Throw in White, brown, Cloke, Grundy do not put fear into opposition teams.

Grundy, Moore, De Goey and Maynard were all either very good or doing what is expected of them. Pendles, Sidey and Swanny did what we have come to expect of them. What was evident was our skill level and lack of footskills and secision making from the back half. There are far too many avg kicks and decision makers in the team (Brown, Frost, Toovey). The difference between their footskills and ours is poles apart. I hate to say it but Ben Ken and Oxley are not up to it. At least next week we get to see Scharenberg in for Oxley after his efforts in the VFL today.

So develop one in the 2's and one in the seniors and alternate according to form. It's is costing the side flexibility and run when they both play in the one side

Have already agreed that Witts playing today was a mistake. But I disagree that there should be only one EVERY week. Playing VFL your devlopment drops significantly, especially in ruck where your opponents are of a far lesser standard

You're opinion sucks.... The gameplan has improved from last year, the issue is the players and there poor decision making and disposal efficiency
Really? Personally i think right now we are playing no different to how we did last year. Improved with the same win loss ratio (possibly worse by seasons end) against worse sides? Go figure.
