We should try and get Bomber Thompson on board as an assistant. His insight is pretty good and would be able to teach the young guys no end. Despite what happened at Essendon he has a brilliant footy mind IMHO.

Not sure about Bomber. Don't know if he's the right man for us. I like having recent players like Henry, Francou, Maxy, Shaw, Dew & Kirk all on board instead. Future proofing our coaching stocks (hopefully).

Always liked bomber.

Yep i agree. He should go to Brisbane

Will def have a bad time. But if they win more than 5 games next year id be shocked. So low risk

Hi Swans fans - so I am getting my first chance to visit the SCG in a few weeks and will be watching you guys take on Port. I was hoping someone here might be able to help.

In particular looking at transport options, I note that there is a shuttle bus from Central to and From Moore Park for $6 return.

My questions are:

* Where about from Central is pick-up? (ie corner of ?? and ??)
* Can I use an opal card for the ticket?
* is the post game pick-up from the same location as the drop off?

Buses go from Chalmers street. The two main exits of Central Station lead onto Chalmers and you'll see a flurry of red and white heading towards the buses.

Yes indeed you can.

Yes it is, the bus terminals directly outside the stadium.

Enjoy!

Thank You - with the bus ticket - do yo simply tag onto the bus - or is a payment required elsewhere first?

What about those rumours of what happened at Geelong and the way he treated Gary junior? No thanks.

If you don't have any mobility issues (Fouveaux St is pretty steep) I've always found walking from Central is a better option than the bus. Should only take 25-odd minutes, which ends up being about the same as the bus which usually gets stuck in traffic.

Plus no standing around in big queues after the match.

If you are good at directions :p

Took me about 40 minutes to get back to my hotel on Ultimo Road near Central but was walking in the wrong direction after the Eagles game haha.

Does lazyprickitis count as a disability? hahaha

Spent a night with him in a box at the G watching Cartank and the Filth and he was great company, even using my nickname by the end of the night.

He calls everyone dickhead probably :p
