Oh dear. Impeccable timing boys, just when the Matty Johns thing starts to run out of steam.

And Prahran still went down by 51 points.

What a load of crap.

What the insides of a football club room haven't seen a naked person and can someone tell me where they have broken the law.....2 parties have entered into a legal contract of services...big deal.

Show me a football club that has never had a strip night and I will show you a boring football club.

For Pete Sake, does it matter if the stripper does his or her legal work at 1pm in the afternoon or 1am at night, whats the difference?

The main difference, which all the do-gooders are missing is that the guys a sober and heading out to play sport, where the 1am session would have blokes filled with ink and heading out to play even harder.

This story was around 2 weeks ago and no one gave a crap, however now with the NRL sex stuff the media are just scrapping the barrel to get stories.

Boy.... Sholley will be over the moon about having his name on the front of the paper in connection with strippers. Hmmm. Better get out the cheque book prahran.

Herald Sun website reports a $5k fine, $4k suspended until the end of 2009.

Lucky they didn't do anything illegal...

The whole thing is bullsh*t. Gees it annoys me. Scholly said on radio that Prharan footy club were dissappointed but also some of oppostion were dissappointed as well. What dribble for the media. And $5k is a joke. Taking way too harder stance. They must have know it happened a few weeks ago as it was reported in one of the columns of a Melbourne weekend paper yet nothing was done then. If they really dissapproved they would have acted immediately.

Its all media rubbish.

Good, Common sense decision by the VAFA.

Not too harsh, not too soft.

They had to be seen to be doing something and reinforcing that respect to women and a family friendly environment is promoted.

couldnt agree more! - VAFA promotes family football, and the incident was just bad timing. its time to move on from here, and continue to promote the league in much better light. its yesterdays news.

We are only talking about a club who has flouted the VAFA rules since it joined the Association, give the club the arse to the SFL where they belong.
You have a long memory BS. Must be referring back as far as State Bank days. Know a high profile cricketer who was also a gun footballer down the Peninsula being offered XYZ a game back in the 80's. Declined and stayed with his club.

Towing the line Rhombus! Thats what it is. I know it had to be done but is it what they truely believe???? All for media.

What a load of crap. The club did nothing wrong and nothing illegal. Would question the location or why they would want it prior to a match though...

As they said on 3AW morning show, presumably every individual or club throughout the State who hired a stripper that weekend will need to be fined for this ghastly act also.

Whole load of shit and the VAFA didn't need to anything at all other than tell the club to use their own facilities next time. Get your heads out of your own asses VAFA.
