I really hope they don’t change the NGA rules again by the time we’re eligible to take him. I wouldn’t put it past the AFL to do something like that unfortunately

I really hope they don’t change the NGA rules again by the time we’re eligible to take him. I wouldn’t put it past the AFL to do something like that unfortunately

IMO round 1 should not be able to be matched , it absolutely corrupts the integrity of the draft and already we re seeing some districts are much richer than others , like ours is fkd which is hard to believe given the central Vic location

Solid rather than elite , don’t mind him , but elite suggests he’s at the top of the tree in his role , I think he’s pretty ok but not sure he has a huge ceiling . Hope he can surprise , he does seem like a good character to have in the side , doesn’t die wondering

Late 22 Castagana was f***g shocking. I had a front row seat to the nightmare on Nerang St. Set shot routine was lining up for goal with his back to the goal. Point, OOF, didn't make the distance. RFC fans just groaned. Lost a close game partially cos of him. Dropped eventually, too late. Injured preseason 2023, retires.
RFC won't select flag winners in the VFL.
George needed half a year in the VFL like D Rioli.... but Dimma would've selected him every game.

now happily retired it seems.

They won't change the bidding/matching rules twice within 3 years. We'll be right.....for now.

I was at that game as well and seen Bolton run into open goal and miss once and get smothered a second time. Also seen Grimes drop a simple chest mark that lead to the winning goal. But at the time it wasn’t cool to blame Dylan or Shai so everyone teed off at George.

Saw Cumberland sub on and kick quite a a few behinds before his debut goal too. Bolton leaves plenty out there. Plenty of crap football in the 2nd half. For Dimma to drop Castagna for the first time in 6 years. Then sub, then no final. Then quits preseason 23
His 11 pressure acts were things of football beauty.

George had the yips, the first Missy Higgins. He needed a break, a kicking coach.
