Was Max (no one told me there was a drug problem at Melbourne) Gawn the only player Smith didn't text with his offer of cocaine?
The funny thing with that is that Gawn was harping on about hair testing being negative and therefore there’s no problem and until the hair testing says otherwise there’s no culture problem

Which only points out either how shit the hair testing is or that the AFL just doesn’t announce any of the positive tests (far more likely) seeing there’s at least two players at the demons who could never had passed hair tests

i fde eel for gawn. the dees have thrown him to the wolves. where f**k is the coach and c.e.o?

RFC's culture was heavily driven by Peggy, Gale Cotch, Jack R, Dimma and other assistants.

RFC's main challenges have been;

Coach separating from mrs; taking medicinal marijuana.

Fights during 2020 and CCJ fighting & Stack's legal issues; Bolton & Rioli fighting.

no drugs anywhere but I think when ST. Peggy & St Trent Cotch left, its a change of faces. People who do things differently.

MFC players fighting each other; weird behaviour from Oliver; and a player taking coke. Had the coach declaring no culture problem last year; Pert saying no problem recently.

MFC has lots of player problems whatever you call it.
Smith and Brayshaw.

MFC has out performed RFC since their last flags.

Some clubs are just not made for winning. Fortunately, we aren't one of those clubs.

Kingy, Huddo and Montagna all have us bottom 4. As does Cornes. Plus Jenkins and Gossage have us last.

* I hope we can stick it up all these bastards.
Writing Richmond off had long ago become a cliche. Look at out Dynasty, written off as it all being over after every loss, they jump on again after a win, jump off after a loss. Only for us to dominate Finals & win the Flag! Yet somehow these morons are still all in the same roles as they were then....

They finally going to admit they have a problem?
The problem is that their potential members are often MCG members, so don't sign up.

is that want you mean?

Can't think of any other things going on with them right now.

i feel for gawn. the dees have thrown him to the wolves. where f**k is the coach and c.e.o?
I feel sorry for him too. What was he meant to say. Chances are he might have suspicions but he isn’t responsible and he certainly can’t say anything

If this Handballing into trouble is Yze's game plan, it's going to be a very long 2024.

Not a lot to like about tonight.

Playing the reigning premiers has nothing to do with it - our ball movement was horrendous.
Could be a throw back to the Wallace Era. The old hospital hand pass to under pressure teammate.

There was no wave running, there was no assistance for your team mate. Wasn't it Hafey who instituted a rule that in any photo that was used in the paper to report on the game he wanted to see more Tiger Jumpers in the frame?

Ball movement was great in the 1st quarter, then pies put the clamps on. Bit of scoreboard pressure and who knows how it ends up.

Defence held up for the most part.
Equal shots for goal.
Clearances, contested ball, I50s much the same.
Dow and Naismith great.
Grimes looked better than last year.

Plenty of positives.

Positives from a player point of view but damn did we look unfit. There were times when their player made a spoil and then was first at the spill of the ball.

I don't know why we kept just abandoning the player with the ball and not running in support as well.
