Not bad, except St. Kilda hinted the other day that they won't bother filling the spot on the list left by Penny. And in the papers this morning it stated the Richmond are going to bypass the PSD and focus on the rookie draft for monetary reasons.

I think the Lions will take Fixter and the Roos will take Thurley though.

Adelaide delisted Smith, M Stevens, Krueger and Watts at the end of last year and the only KPP we drafted was Obst. For this reason, I reckon our list is at least one KPP short and will probably take Grima.

Port seem really keen on Tom Logan and Adelaide showed interest in him so I think either of those clubs will pick him up

Tigers can't afford rookies and cream

Severe budgetary constraints are almost certain to force Richmond to miss the pre-season draft in order to select as many rookie-list players as possible.

Richmond director of football Greg Miller said this week that the Tigers would not participate in the pre-season draft unless they could get access to a player "who's going to make an impact".

Miller confirmed that the club could not afford to draft four rookies and a seasoned player in the pre-season draft. Both drafts are on Tuesday.

If they're young enough and decent enough, they should get rookied. Getting on a rookie list is handy enough.

Think that Collingwood are totally focused on youth (teens) at the moment, so will pass on recycled players in PSD. Where as Kangaroos remain in 'finals window' mode, so makes more sense for them to pick up a Thurley, Woey or Cupido. Pies history of recycling 'recycled players' has done them no favours in the recent past (so a little gun shy now), they wud only draft 'experience' if it was stand out quality that just cannot be passed over.
I still think that Woey has something to offer a club that will be around in September 2006, but todays Footy system will leave him in it's wake.
