Cross is one of the most experienced players in our side. I think its important his not out of the 22. I agree though that his kicking is not his strong point and that he handballs a lot. I think someone like Cross is very important for our young players coming up.

Cross being outside the best 22 is not a ridiculous suggestion at all. There is Luke Ball, Leigh Brown slow and then there is Daniel Cross slow, his legspeed is so pitiful it leaves our team exposed defensively time and time again, everyone tries to burn him off and they have a 80-90% success rate.

I really hope Wallis or Smith will be good enough to take his spot.

Best thing to do is call the club tomorrow morning, speak to reception and try and find out. There's usually some training being done on the oval 3-4 mornings a week, usually 9:30am ish.

He does look like he's coming in with a decent sized frame to him. He's 187cm IIRC and with a huge leap. I'll certainly be watching Williamstown with interest next year.

Ok, every year there are usually a few people who take heaps of pictures of bulldogs training, and post them on bigfooty. Then on the plonkers like me look through them but don't even bother to post our appreciation.

Who is going to take the photos this year? Where are you, and why haven't you posted them on bigfooty yet?
