As far as I know yes. Although in his early days people were calling him D. rex from memory although happy to be corrected by others with better memories

still hasnt done much at yet, averaged 11 possies/10 games in first season, has plenty to prove I would have thought. I would be a little more circumspect at handing over Top 5 picks unless these kids were showing toby green like form

I picked up a Giants membership along with my Tiges one this year and made a point of keeping an eye on them. WHE is my favourite player at GWS. He first stood out when we played against them in Canberra during the NAB cup. He certainly still has the inconsistency that comes with being a skinny kid, but he can be super damaging with only 15 touches. I would be even more ecstatic if we got him to the Tigers than if we got Tyson.

As far as being worth a top 5 pick in trade, Toby Greene is an outstanding accumulator but his disposal is average, I can see him ending up a very similar player to Tucky. Hoskin-Elliott has a much higher ceiling with the potential to turn out like a Dale Thomas, a Harley Bennell, or a Steve Johnson. I know which one I'd prefer.

Haha, their decision to play games in Canberra got me in the end. I love the Tigers, but I also love the game. I don't get the chance to see many games live so when I do I'm happy to watch anybody. Plus if the members and fans of other clubs didn't pitch in these new teams would have nobody.

The kids will still have to be Tigs supporters though, or they'll be out on the street. Do as I say not as I do etc etc

Bo, WHE has pure football ability. Even if he doesn't reach the level of say Bennel or Thomas, he'll still be a very good footballer. He's not just a skinny flanker.

D-rex would be correct.

Bo, WHE has pure football ability. Even if he doesn't reach the level of say Bennel or Thomas, he'll still be a very good footballer. He's not just a skinny flanker.

Also with WHE you are getting a player with 2-3 years of exposed form & Development in him already and a good idea of what he will become - Its a calculated judgment

Lets just hope that both WHE & Tyson have shocking years and dont really get too many games so we might be able to afford both with our 1st selection + Nahas

If that happens, then everyone here will be complaining that we gave up our 1st rounder and Nahas for 2 players that have shown nothing...

I assure you, there won't be a single wisp of complaining if we get both Tyson and WHE for our first rounder and Nahas.

Sometimes the content on our board is beyond shameful, but I don't believe our supporters are that stupid to think that we'd be the ones being ripped off for getting two top 5 draft picks for a small forward and pick 10-13.

Anyone hear about the fight between vlas and ellis? Sounds a bit tense. I think it was Dusty and Arnott at the start of the year that had a fight too. Maybe Dimma organises for 2nd year players to pick on 1st year players to get them used to it

Someone mentioned it in another thread, said they know someone who spoke to Dimma about it afterward and he was 'beaming like a proud father'... Can't be too serious.

Also after the story came out I think I noticed on one of the training video's both those guys standing next to each other with the rest of the group. So they didn't take it to heart which is good.

Still can't be as a ferocious fight as when Knights and Cambo went at it all those years ago during a pre season. Clash of the heavy weights there.

Like I have mentioned before, he has always found it hard to bulk up. But with the lack of size, his speed and leaping ability is amazing. I guess a few kgs wouldn't hurt him but I can see him just dominating for us. Kade Simpson is one of the perfect example of a skinny footballer who can play.

And just a little inside news for everyone, I manage to speak to him and his misses and he said if he got to choose a Vic team to play for, he so far has said the doggies (because his from the western suburbs and his very friend and family orientated.) and us (tigers) because he thinks we have a very bright and successful future ahead of us. He is a Pies supporter but does not want to play for them (Thank God!) lol.
