I also agree with this…I just wish the club had the balls to use King as the chop out ruckman, he & Ro would a be dangerous combination
Sure. Let’s use our blue-chip forward asset, who has had a chequered injury history so far, in a position that going to see him get physically battered regularly.

Just because someone is tall does NOT mean they can or should ruck.

Still no Boyd! I wonder what's going on there?

The club are making him earn his spot thats for sure, but Id doubt he would have been invited back after the break if they weren't going to offer him a spot.

Any of the training watchers tomorrow it would be appreciated if you can you pay some extra attention to Hugh Boxshall. Apart from the limited footage available around draft time we dont know a real lot about him. Thanks in advance!!!

Love to see King alternating with Ro…doubt the selectors have the balls to do it though!

Yeah I've been pushing that barrow for a few years. Love Maxie but if he's a one position full forward then he makes team selection quite tricky. If he can harden up and actually play ruck for a few minutes a quarter then it changes the complexion of the team completely.

Not sure he would get battered, the ruck rules these days make it a lot safer for rucks than the old days as you would know.
I don't think he would be at any more risk playing ruck than being a key forward

He should do what Joe Daniher did for Brisbane. The ruck would free him up and make us less predictable, makes too much sense.

The site has been updated for all new players FYI

Well it has their names.
Now we just need photo's for the noobs, and updated profiles for just about everyone.

My prediction….

Arie will be an All Australian in the not too distant future. You can build a game plan around a boot like that.
This is where Ross will earn his money. Arie isn’t a “mad” footballer like Phillipou and Wilson, and that’s ok. Ross just needs him to be 100% switched on at training and during games and he could be anything.

Just a few question marks around his athleticism

Understand it was his first year last year but his running and general fitness levels looked like he had a looooong way to go

Was giving me serious "Brandon White running in treacle" vibes when chasing a few times

Do you think he will be?

Steady on fella…it’s a 5 minute a quarter chop out.. you don’t think he cops it as a forward?
Might enjoy the freedom of running around without 2 or 3 players hanging off him
