I’d like to hear about our future - TJ, Parker, Harry, Allan, Steene, Smit, Ryan.

Also, who will start the year injured and in rehab? There’s HH. Maybe Checkers. Is Mitchell fit to go?

We didn’t hear about mass surgeries at the end of the season - a good sign, given our horror run in 2024.

Tom looks more than ready to go judging by his training videos on his sm.

according to the injury report in August, he was only 3-4 weeks away.
Working on the assumption that he could come back for finals if necessary without his pec being at 100% strength, that sounds about right. There’s no need to rush him now though so it wouldn’t be at all surprising if he’s not in full training next week.

Doesn't need to come back until Nov 25 anyway, so gives him a bit of time

Agree.

I think he'll be back when the older guys come back, and even then probably will only really be doing the running portion of it (nothing contested).

I think he won't be back into full normal training until the new year

Can you let me know if Cumberland or Tomlinson are there. My friend wants to know
Now manic.... tell the truth.

An eye opener for anyone thinking Titch is done and dusted.
We missed him this year.
He'll still be good a very good player on the inside, but the issue for him is going to be what role? Nick's our first rover. Is the rest of his game still good enough to play as a support role.

Nick was our first rover out of necessity last year. He’s the best first option for a hit out on the move, but you don’t want him at the bottom of the packs, you want Mitchell there feeding it out to him.

Either way, I think Titchs inside game will have a drop off from 2023 simply as his initial task will be to help create a lane for Nick rather than straight to the ball drop. I think there's a distinct chance that his Hawthorn ending occurs with him being pushed out of his best role and struggling.

No-one want Naicos on the dirt amongst the kidney punches, knees and elbows.
That Tich's domain.

How will you cope
Given my body clock seems to wake up early anyway, no stress. Looking forward to it.
Scheduled my wed chiropractor around training on weds. Generally its 10am, but I was like... uhh, do you have a later appointment lol

What is your morning meal when watching training, cereal, toast, coffee or cooked breakfast?
Generally have something at home before I leave.
usually a shake. If not, some toast or cereal. Depending how much time I have or in the mood for.
Post training, some of us head to the cafe at aami park for a toastie and a drink. I generally get a hot chocolate. Or I head into the city for some sushi.

You could always go and get a souvlaki after training.

Thats a bygone era. They keep their feet and now blow the whistle as soon as the ball is pinned. There is no bottom of the pack. And even in that bygone era, rucks hit the ball to KB and Gary Wilson.
