I feel the communal pain re Hawkins’ kicking, but let’s not forget the work he is doing to get those shots. Every time he’s winning a contest, the Lions aren’t rebounding.

It's not all doom and gloom. Hawk has kicked one and given off a couple. Yes he should have kicked a couple more but we're 30 up and he's contributing.

Smart thing to do next time he has a set shot would be a dish off to a Cameron / Close / Stengle

Hawkins has actually been huge - played a great half...except the obvious. Agree with others though, it's happened too often in finals to be a coincidence. The pressure clearly affects him.

Still love him though.

Biggest issue for Hawkins is that he's not kicking through the ball and rather he's trying to guide it, so he leans back on it

He needs to start putting a bit more into his kicks, compared with being too gentle with the ball
