I hope Fagan gives something in the press conference instead of mulligians and other tripe. He cant use winning quarters or halves tonight although even when the sting went out of it , generally teams in our shoes hit the scoreboard b/c the other teams puts the brakes on - we were just more apathetic.

If we are going to win a flag, we need Josh Dunkley. Lachie needs help.

IMO it is as simple as we don't have a good enough first string midfield. We basically need Choc to play brownlow footy every week. Get Dunkley and Ashcroft in and sure up the midfield and it'll go a long way.

Making a prelim from 6th isn't a bad effort. I'll take that.

We came up (yet again) against the pre-destined side in the finals this year and they had way too much experience + out-bodied us + had clean skills + stuck all their tackles + had great coaching strategy. Hopefully one of these years we get one of the feeble teams like Collingwood did last week.

The question now is, did we have two lucky games, because tonight was back to our home and away frustrations.
Nah i think we ran high on emotions and good play last two games, Geelong to smart and clinical in their strategy.

We played high on emotion last two games and when that faltered we couldn't rely on just pure good play as quite a few players were very down on output.

once it got away from us we just le t the game play out and it turned a bit ugly. shame that
