Preliminary Final - StKVs Bull

Lake had been belting Riewoldt behind play the whole game. You know, generally when you punch someone in the stomach, it's a free kick. Don't be a dick about it just because it's Riewoldt and he cried once about ten years ago out of passion for the game.

Akermanis' out of bounds was deliberate. End of story.

Baker's ball up - calls like that are made all the time. There were plenty in the Dogs' favour last night too. It always happens.

i went to the game,
the umpiring was disgraceful, (coming from an umpire myself).
it felt like after halftime the umpires were told by the afl to pull their heads in and make sure saints win.

a few decisions i did not think were correct - out of many.

akermanis deliberate out of bounds. - was under pressure as he kicked.

tackle on steven baker, who was holding the ball with one hand, after breaking a tackle. but was called a ball up.

bump after half time, lake on rOOvolt. im sure flies dont knock key forwards over.

anyway, i hope none of those umpires get the grand final next week.

if geelong lose tonite, i'll bypass this years grand final.

bingo. I watched it with 2 umpires.and they were screaming at the tv at the decisions.

The free kick against Lake after half time was a joke. It was just a bump as he went past. If you pay a free for that you would have to pay a hundred a game. Look what happens before a quarter starts in almost any game, exactly the same thing. As for the umpiring in general, the Dogs got flogged big time.At least 4 bad holding the ball decisions, and Bakers one was a disgrace. As a neutral watcher thought the Dogs were very unlucky to lose.

I don't think many Geelong supporters can claim to be neutral when the Saints are playing. Look at all the whinging threads from last night, full of Cat and Pies supporters.

So you obviously think 100% of Geelong supporters were not neutral. I am just telling you what i saw and the things i mentioned were obvious, except perhaps for a biased StKilda supporter.

I was leaning slightly towards the Dogs last night and reckon the umpiring was poor in parts but didn't really favour either side.

It's going to take a while to get over this one could have quite easily won that game had we put our chances away and the umps weren't being tossers maybe next year we can recruit a decent forward and take out the grand final.

And just maybe Dogs don't win comfortably without Johnno!

Dogs don't win anything without Lake, actually.

touch wood, but if he goes down at any point of any year, it's pretty much season over.
