Tickets - 130 bucks
Flights - 500 bucks
Accommodation - 250 bucks

Seeing Billy Picken sink a knee into Ryan Griffen's dodgy back - Priceless.

PS my mate and I are like 242 or something next to the cheersquad. Keen to meet a few of you fellas for a beer at the pub beforehand or at the game.

Plenty of doggies by the looks. We will smash them on the Decibel Levels if nothing else. We should work out a cab share set up on this link too - cut some costs.

What time does your flight get in? Cab it to the Brewery?

I hope everyone with extra tickets resells to Doggies fans only
Looks like those on BF who wanted to go have managed to get tickets. Apart from the ticketmaster site and the lack of information about how to get the right amount of tickets it seems like our concerns about not getting tickets might have been premature. Would love to hear from members (I don't really care if the bandwaggors who are non-members miss out) if anyone has missed out and if this is the case, we should be bombarding the afl with our anger on behalf of any who have missed out. By the way I got mine and am pumped for the weekend

Apparently there was an allocation for "ANZ members" whatever the hell that is.

5000 tickets were allocated to ANZ Stadium Members for any Giants final as part of the deal to end the AFL's deal to play finals there. They had 10,000 allocated to them for our game on the weekend and our presale was delayed so they could go first. Expect to see them on ebay.

Long time lurker, first time poster!

Have 2 spare tix to sell - got tickets for my partner myself + used my membership for 2 tickets for my brother and his partner in case he could get out of work, but after many fights this morning, turns out his boss is the grinch.

Want to sell the tickets to Bulldogs supporters if possible! Category 1 smack bang on the wing.

Order for:
Seat location: SECTION 202
Total Charge: AU $363.7

Face value of course and if no Dogs supporters take them up might have to mark-up for Giants supporters =P

Want to complain to the AFL?
It looks like a lot of us suffered the same fate. I emailed and phoned aflticketing@afl.com.au who said they had "no issues" at the time and I forwarded them the error 120 others have had. They then said there were some issues - this was at 9:14am

Can I ask everyone affected write politely to aflticketing@afl.com.au and describe both your issues and the toll it took on you this morning. Any outstanding issues should be noted. Please ask for a response in your email. Keep it reasonable but please email them so that alarm bells ring next time the Dogs get slotted in for a bad deal.

Exchanging of tickets
Please be aware the exchange of tickets around ANZ stadium (and I believe at sh!teless park) is covered by NSW state law and you may lose your tickets. If you are intending on fixing the F#$ ups that TicketMaster/AFL gave you, you may want to do this off-site with other Bulldog members to avoid confiscation.

What makes no sense to me whatsoever is that when public tickets go in sale at 2pm, there's not going to be any on sale for a intents and purposes.

What's the point of pumping millions into GWS, paying people like Israel Folau etc. and the entire existence of GWS full stop if when GWS find success there's no seats on offer for any rugby/soccer fan who might want to go to the game simply because it's a Prelim?

We hear stories about how WS people are all bandwagons and when GWS find success the crowds would rise. That's all good and we until there's no actual seats on offer to any potential fan.

There's a big show and dance about expanding the game into Sydney, yet this is only their third Prelim as a city in 10 years. Surely because it's the 3rd biggest AFL game in 10 years there you want as many non-food fans going?

It's absolutely ridiculous that it wasn't at ANZ.

I too have a spare ticket. Bay 440 which is right on the outer wing. Only want face value. PM if interested.

I wouldn't if I were you. Hope you don't mind me intruding.

Get a train from the airport to Olympic Park Station (the train station at the airport is on the bottom level, you can't miss it) you literally would be there an hour earlier. Saturday in Sydney is a nightmare on the roads. The cab would cost you up to $80-100 minimum, believe me I've done it and I thought I was seeing double when they told me the price!

Good luck Saturday.
