De La
Blacks another nail in Bernies coffin.
Colls game of the round. Handfull of pts in it.
OT to slick. Be a true measure on where Skobs sit. Mid ladder I reckon
Xavs MUST win, or Patty might be looking for a new job.
Same for me, except I'll take OM's over Collegians at sportscover.

Have heard that the old powerbroker are sharpening the knives, one with a christian name of Ralph in particular.

Ok... OM's ain't going down. Bad prediction by me. Shocking. Smokingly bad.
We have a great Comp. Snowdogs look most likely to join Carey in B, with Xavs hot on their heels.
SKOBS performance after quarter time will send shivers through the spines of other clubs. The giant is awakening...

Watched OX/students today - OX didn't set my world alight - their fans hung around til the end which is noble

Om's the story of the year so far!

So hard to pick this Comp

So every league in Victoria played a representative game yesterday except for VAFA. I know there's the game against the SA Amateurs later in the season but is that the only reason why VAFA didn't compete?

I think it was probably done to try and find the second best league.
No point having the Ammos pick a second string team as per usual, more notable for those not playing than playing, and just win. Not good for the morale of the lesser leagues.

I was wondering about that too mate.
Were the VAFA not invited? This is being billed as the state championships and doesn't seem right to have the best comp not participating.
If they were invited, very strange decision to choose playing SA rather than defend their title.

Politics between it and AFL Victoria probably.

The thing the championships showed was the Metro squads, despite initial naming the likes of Fevola, Moorcroft, Cloke and co, didn't play them.

LOL Moorecroft. He's like 40 plus years old. Would be run off on all day against a good backline. Wouldn't be in the best 300 players if in the VAFA

What's people's take on the results from yesterday?

Are SKOB starting to hit their straps?

Are Benards almost consigned to relegation?

Could Blues make up the the top 4?

Will OM's continue their great form, or will they slow down as the year wears on?

Relegation battle at Maplebet:

Panthers - no odds given. Lock.
Snowdogs - $1.36
Blacks, Wesley $2.90
Xavs - $12.00

All others $50 or greater.

Wasn't at the game but have heard there was a bit of a blue between supporters after SKOB v Trinity.
Some bloke called Nick I believe was screaming out at someone called Fraz...'cop that one you AGS minnows' whilst Fraz shot back... 'Nick off you ring in ringleader'
They were separated but safe to say tension is mounting.

No way Bernies get relegated, they are a great club and start favourites next week vs SKOB due to the VFL bye across the whole comp.

Bernies will have some massive in's, Caven, Peart, Wallis and the the bloke from Box Hill.
