That's desperate. Might be a few jobs coming up at Visy.FWIW big news out of AJAX is that the player religious restriction has been lifted. Be interesting to see if that gets a few big names there with Choco.

Still doubt the jackas will recruit much from coburg way. Could you imagine a bloke named yasser al-wahed playing next to benny rubenstein?
The peace team. Had forgotten them. Good point well madeRefer the last couple of International Cup competitions held in Melbourne...
That's great news. Peace and love to everyone everywhere at all times.
Definitely frees them up. Could be a "sleeping giant".........
Don't forget the odd lawyer and/or judge there rooster. Plus the local federal MP...Some of the biggest captains of industry in the state support the Jackers and they would have some seriously good networks and contacts. If true this could be scary for the rest of the comp.

Any news regarding OS? They seem rather quiet..........
I think it will be between : OS, OC, Snow Dogs and OB. In no order....
I think it will be wide open. I'm going to take a different view - in no order MB, OC, AJAX, Fitz.Any news regarding OS? They seem rather quiet..........

Interesting to see a bye week after round 1. Not sure I like that.
On another note, Carey v Scotch round 1 is a massive game. Scotch are probably lucky they get Carey early, as they usually get off to a slow start.
I agree FF. Maybe throw in an improved Monash into the mix as well.
Did I say it would be a walk in the park? When they bring in all these recruits, it usually takes them a few games to gel, hence lucky to play them first up.Considering the list that Carey seems to be putting together, i'm not sure it's going to be the walk in the park you think it is.
Maplebet market in the top 4 grades please.Snowdogs, Panthers, Finger Biscuits and Brahton for me.

Wouldn't you rather get Carey after round 6, when their depth gets tested and they have to play blokes who aren't up to regular senior footy in their bottom 6-8 players?

Soft Canada. The two demoted teams favourite and the two promoted teams last? Never happens. Have a crack!
