St Bernard’s are playing East Burwood and Monash Blues.

Monash Blues are playing SBMT also.

SBMT also have got Keilor and Cheltenham.

Nothing else advertised on any of the other social media’s for the clubs.
St Bedes and Chelt always a good practice match, back in the day East Burwood ruled the Eastern Footy League with Vermont and East Ringwood !!

Speaking to few people over the weekend it looks like De La might be in for a very long year. Lost a few that quite honestly can't be replaced in the short term and core quality isn't what it used to be.

Were in trouble early last year, before coming home with a wet sail.

Not going to call it a re-buliding year, maybe a 'avoid relegation' year could be more appropriate.

Been a very long time since the boys from Dairy Bell were in the 3rd division.

That's not good to hear at all. De La have always been a strong and proud club and I hope they go well in 2023. I assume both Williams boys will carry a fairly heavy load this year then by the sounds of it.

I stand to be corrected GY but having been formed in 1955 DLS were in B grade by 1959 and have remained in either A or B grade ever since. But times have changed and A grade is now the exclusive domain of the big APS schools and Melbourne Uni clubs. No room for ACC, AGSV, other uni’s or district clubs. That’s fine by me and we all find our level. At some point in the future there might be a correction but right at the moment the gap between A and B is immense and getting bigger. Have a look at who Xavs have added to their list this year. Probably only SKOB capable of competing with that sort of talent so I expect Premier might be a bit of a yawn fest this year.

At some point it is probably inevitable that DLS will be in C grade but I don’t think it will be this year. Yes have lost some top enders and some other senior stalwarts but have picked up a couple and will be competitive. Anywhere from 4-8 is my tip. Beaumaris look unbackable at this stage. Second best side in it for most of 2022 and have recruited very well. St Bernards, St Bedes and Fitzroy perhaps the best of the rest.

You're correct on the history front, 65 years since De La were last in 'C' grade.

I share your sentiments about which clubs currently belong in Premier section.

Then

FFS that is at 9 am , at Midday Frankston VFL will use academy and listed players v Beaumaris , at 2pm Frankston VFL will play the Northern Bullants VFL , hopefully that clears it up .
Will be watching Bonbeach hopefully smash Beaumaris in the cricket

With 36 degree heat and strong winds predicted for Saturday, those practice matches will separate the wheat from the chaff as far as fitness is concerned.

I think you will find Monash are very competitive, if not pushing for best of the rest status. They were very strong in Premier C, have gained plenty and lost very little

I have no doubt they will be competitive and this stage of the year it is all guess work. Based on my limited knowledge of Monash I have them behind the aforementioned clubs. Probably amongst a host of mid table clubs competing for a spot in the 4. If the wraps on Mac Cameron are correct it appears that they have lost someone who was their best player by some considerable margin. Not ideal when going up a grade.

Whose your tip Archangel17
