They had a couple of handy ins.

Speaking of all things Prem C. Parkdale would be doing ok in Prem B. Good team with very good numbers.

They would be competitive against Fitz, Ajax and Old Carey and maybe even Willy.

Some very big games this week.

HR and Monash should be a cracker.

That Monash v Hampton Rovers game will be the first real test of the season for both clubs. Monash & the Rovers are both in good form at this stage of the year. It will be hard to pick a winner from this match-up.

I think HR were tested against us. They just passed with a good grade. Watch the 1st 10 minutes. If we had kicked straight, result may have been different. We didn’t and they won well.
 
Went down on Saturday to Ruthvan Reserve to watch Preston vs Monash as I’ve just moved into the local area and was keen to watch some local footy.
Was a good first quarter and a half even though there was a stuff up with the timekeeper that meant the first quarter went for 40 minutes then Monash just got going and looked very clean.
But I saw one of the dirtiest things I’ve ever seen on a footy field where what I was told was the captain of Preston had the ball and was tackled holding the ball by number 3 for Monash and was knocked out in the tackle, then this little grub proceeded to smash his head into the ground twice whilst he was unconscious without any form of repercussion.
They look like a top quality side but that sort of stuff needs to stamped

what quarter and wht time. interesting viewing on he replay.

Having watched Parkdale last season, no chance, big jump to B Grade, even bigger to A

Guessing you’re the peanut who abused our volunteer timekeeper after he made a mistake. And the same tool who spent the whole 2nd half trying to incite violence. There must be a village short of an idiot somewhere....

No reflection on Preston at all as they as a club are many rungs ahead of you on the evolution ladder.

Certainly not, I didn’t like what I saw there with that guy one bit.
Like I said I’m just a local from the area with no knowledge of any person from the club.
Just thought I’d add my two cents as that was very ordinary from that player

It seems what you say is true. From the footage you can’t see him push his head into the ground but you can see him push on some part of his body. So let’s add number 3 to 1 and 18 to the Monash dog acts

Watched it. Tackle was fine, but his head hit the ground. I doubt the player who won the free was aware the tackled player was knocked unconscious, but he did give him a shove somewhere to add insult to injury.

Not great work, but if that’s one of the dirtiest things you’ve seen on a football field you must have previously watched mixed AFL 9s and/or Auskick. On a scale of 1 - 10 it’s about a 4 for mongrel acts.

I’m guessing you may have more than a passing interest in the progress of Preston AFC.

Have a look now at the report of 99 from Ormond i think in the 2nd Q challenged and got 3 , a simple bump to the should and the charge said contact about the eyes . The OM player just shrugged it off and said shoulder contact and that was at the game . 99 was sent off and could of cost a bit as he kicked 4 goals. This is a joke . We had another one reported for a sling off the tape and it was there , so no bias. Probably one of the more pathetic charges ive seen.

Wearing 99 on his back he shouldn’t have been allowed to play senior Premier C in the first place. 🤣
