I've been told that's not quite the case but who knows with this stuff!
I heard he was on a tram with some of the skob players and was not very happy with some of the songs that they sang or the attention given to some young girls.
Not sure if 100% accurate..

Yes, I think it was mentioned on the VAFA podcast that he has relocated to Sydney for work this year.
A huge loss for SKOB as he has been a start of the competition for some time but I'm sure they will have another few that can pop up in his place, albeit not at his level.
After a perfect 5 last week:
Old Trinity v Old Scotch - This is a real danger game, but I think the Cardinals will eventually get it done.
Old Melburnians v Old Brighton - OB flying.
Collegians v St Kevins - The Lions are in real trouble I fear.
Uni Blues v Caulfield - Upset of the round.
Old Xaverians v St Bernards - Claret & Stout too good at home.

Can someone please explain why the Old Melb serial offender, Mr J Paine did not have to front the tribunal for rough conduct given he was rubbed out twice in 2019 for the same offence, once against my mob? Hope the VAFA has not allowed preferential treatment here or were they asleep at the wheel? Isn't this a breach of tribunal rules. Should get at least 3 and looking at the draw Scotchies won't be pleased.

Not correct - If has history from previous season or current season it has to be heard - the only thing I can think of is they count 2020 AS THE PREVIOUS SEASON WHEN WE DIDN'T PLAY. I smell a rat.

Also, just quietly, every club should be forced to put up their side by midday on Friday and be allowed to have 3 emergencies.
If it's not up by then, the club should be fined at least $200. It's just annoying that some clubs don't publish sides until early on Saturday morning!

I would like to know who is playing before I get to the game seeing as I am usually at the ground early on Saturday and the VAFA no longer prints records and most clubs don't bother putting the right numbers into the record each year!
Fine? Seriously? Maybe at some clubs the poor volunteer who has to populate the team sheet has a job or has other commitments on a Friday. Personally, it matters little to me if I see the team at midday on Friday or 2.00pm Saturday. If club wants to name an extended list, either for the purposes of playing funny buggers or legitimately waiting on VFL selections or fitness tests then so be it. I think most astute VAFA watches know who will be playing and if we get a few surprises when the teams run out then even better.
We have enough trivial fins in the VAFA. Please don’t give HQ any new ideas on other ways to sting clubs.
3 emergencies... fines... Champ it's the ammo's chill out. I know handing out fines to everybody is the new normal around this state but maybe just do as has always been done and wait until game time to see who runs out. Gee some people are uptight
Strangest post this year that was , as Jimmyjack said don't give them any ideas for any other fines.
Also if not playing the byes the clubs should get a rebate
