Back on football terms, Collegians will be playing Old Trinity this weekend at Wesley St Kilda Road on the hallowed HJ Kroger Front Turf. It should be a great game of football.

Just can't stand the crap figures they come out with every year . We used to have a Collegians Pres on the Albert Park Sports group which was quite successful in the early days , was a good operator .

I watched OBALUMNI V OXAFL on the weekend. Despite the clarets having 5 odd of their best out, OB are young, hard nosed and tough at the coal face and the dichotomy of their suburb of origin and deserved the win. The Xavs needed a loss like that to spring them into gear after the success of last season before it wound up. OXAFL played a very young side too and the brand of football was great from both. VAFA is in good hands, despite the obvious influx of external talent at some clubs.
