Not really. We had lots of hard shots due to poor skills and field position. If we had missed a lot of shots from 30m out directly in front from well crafted pieces of play I'd feel alot better.

I hear you but we're starting from a really low base. As predicted, it'll be a tough season to watch but more enjoyable than the last two as there are green shoots.

Ive followed this team since the first WCE game and I can say now after last years poor effort and losing Shuey and Hurn we now have our worst ever list and not only won't we win 1 game but we will be called mid season to have put the game into disrepute. The AFL will step in after about our 5th 100+ point loss. People in here will say this a mega melt but bookmark this post mid season, we are so bad it is not funny. We won't win one game and it will go down as one of the worst seasons by any team ever in the history of VFL/AFL. I wish I could see some light but we have nothing, can't win the ball and can't kick goals if our life depended on it.

Rought start with Flynn and a few others out. But the delta from last year is not particularly evident. We look to be trying to pressure and tackle but the game at AFL level is too fast for many. This will take a big lift across the team and create and work for each other. We have mastered the hospital hand pass but if players don't work hard enough or are not smart enough to present options that's what you yet.

Leadership was non existent but two young captains should learn. Duggan worries me as he as a he is a c grade back flank most of the time.

Not many out there will be in our next finals appearance.
