I think keys brings up a great point earlier in the thread, freo brought a 40 man squad to the game so had more fresh legs to rotate through the late part of the game. We saw that in the late 3rd and 4th qtr when they started to over run us.

Looks like supporters should already just be hoping for minimal injuries as the litmus for "a good game" vs any signs of competitiveness. We must be going down injured at well over the average rate. It's baffling.
Early days, yes, but the struggle is still real and it's going to be a long season.

There were some green shoots last year in amongst the trainwreck.
Reasonably expecting some more this year, but we will want to show something in the first few rounds…
The first heavy rebuild we’ve experienced. Patience not our strong suit and it will be tested again. Hoping for more positives than negatives by seasons end.

Can’t see how it won’t be a long year. Only positive was he had so many shots on goal for being that outplayed. Pity they couldn’t kick it through the right posts though
