I want to add some feedback one of the S&C blokes gave me on Monday whilst chatting RE Baker.
Said the players an staff have been blown away by Liam’s intensity and effort. Never seen anything like it, in his 8-9 years at the club. His ability to hit/take a hit, bounce back up and go again is seriously impressive and inspiring.
Will become a fan favourite - Beau Waters type, very quickly - despite the initial rage post trade period.

There’s still prolonged rage, it’s not just initial. I’m glad he’s receiving praise like that on the track but no one will ever convince me that he was worth pick 14.

The only problem with these types is their body doesn't hold up long term. Waters and Kerr being good examples.

I suspect he'll be a fan favourite and have people wondering how he slid to pick 46.
You mentioned him being gassed, his tank definitely needs work and he didn't do well in the 2km at the combine. He's a power/burst athlete who'll take some time build his tank.
Stoked to have him though as he looks a natural with good skills/smarts as well as being a proper tough nut with some campaigner in him

Having differing opinions is healthy, I just do not like his passive aggressive smart arse know all self proclaimed wiseman from the east. Our mods are soft and want to make us look like nice children playing side by side so allow crap. Not sure any of our mods ever played hard and wanted to win contested football!
No way in hell was it good trading to give up pick 14.Clarke had a shocking start to life as a negotiator and we can only hope The Don as put things in place. Overall draft and trade, most are happy and we cannot change it.
