Waterman has the best tank of our forwards and will need to continue doing the hard work leading up to the wings to give the backs something to kick to after turnover. But he's also a natural forward who leads great from the goal square at the kicker.
if Archer is fit he needs to be developed as a true CHF to take over the high half forward role from Jake or at least give Jake a chop out. Allen's knee's are stuffed. He'll probably take over Darling's roaming 3rd tall role.

We still have to decide what to do with the rucks. Bailey Williams is easily the worst tap ruckman we've had in our history and gives you nothing around the ground. I'd honestly rather rotate Jack Williams and Flynn (until Flynn is injured by like round 3) in the ruck and off the bench than waste any more time with Bailey. Jack is a natural footballer who always seems to make the right play.

Don’t really know anymore details other than it was possibly at Juicy Fest certainly not ideal.

Waterman needs to stay in the forward 50 where he flourished last season ,until he doesn't. Don't need him returning to the role he was a fringe player for years

Impressed with his footwork though, I have to say. Seems like he’s got his bounce back.

Context is always going to be key here, but it’s really not a great look at all, especially if the club isn’t aware either.

Probably costs him a spot in the indigenous game, which is a shame. Club will handle accordingly.

urrgh. Ryan's had quite a few of these now, ice is getting thin.

On a side note, and I completely do not condone this behaviour, but that wasn't the worst display of fighting i've seen on a street, some level of co-ordination still there vs the typical can barely stand drunken haymakers.

I wonder if there was anything on offer for Ryan at the trade table. Getting involved in stuff like this indicates the blokes mind is not on his career. If a second rounder was available for him i would have jumped at it, even if we had to eat some of his salary for a couple of years to sweeten the deal.

The Duck is the best player I've ever seen play and he played both high forward and deep. Jake's got the tank and played both roles last year too. Kennedy and Darling alternated leading up high for a decade to break up defensive structures too. Allen's knee's are shot so someone with a tank has to play the role. I'm hoping Archer or Jack can but otherwise it's still on Jake.

I think he’ll get a suspension. With the indigenous game coming up he can’t play that then miss regular season games so wouldn’t surprise if he gets similar to Balta which would mean missing indigenous game then the first 3 rounds. Terrible form by him.

If I was Long, Brockman or Rawlinson I’d be making sure I trained the house down. Two of those could be playing for their career this year.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he still plays the exhibition game. He’s one of the marquee names in the line up.

When Gaff got suspended he played the pre season games in 2019 while still having 2 games remaining on his suspension.
