I think he’ll get a suspension. With the indigenous game coming up he can’t play that then miss regular season games so wouldn’t surprise if he gets similar to Balta which would mean missing indigenous game then the first 3 rounds. Terrible form by him.

If I was Long, Brockman or Rawlinson I’d be making sure I trained the house down. Two of those could be playing for their career this year.

Similar to Balta? He hasn't glassed anyone or even been charged with anything.

West Coast are investigating a physical altercation allegedly involving star Eagles forward Liam Ryan.

Phone vision emerged on Thursday night showing what appears to be Ryan in a boxing stoush with another male in front of several onlookers.

It’s understood the incident occurred after a recent music festival.

I wonder if there was anything on offer for Ryan at the trade table. Getting involved in stuff like this indicates the blokes mind is not on his career. If a second rounder was available for him i would have jumped at it, even if we had to eat some of his salary for a couple of years to sweeten the deal.

Seems even Gold Coast were smart enough to walk away when he came knocking asking them for a trade there.

Without context it's really hard to read too much into it. What was the outcome of the boys in Geelong getting into a dust up when someone spoke poorly to or touched one of the guys partners?

Club probably already knew about it but has to go through the 'we're investigating' phase.

Not a great look but no police involved and appears nobody got hurt.

Could know each other and just having scrap for fun, for all we know.

Balta ended up injuring the other guy and charged with assault which is why it was dealt with more harshly.

Looks like every Friday night at my local pub back in the 70s, which coincidentally wasn't too far from Gero.
2 clowns get get in an argument which culminates in "outside", a crowd of onlookers file out and form a circle while the aforementioned clowns have a bit of a grapple. When one starts to get the better of the other it gets broken up and everyone goes back inside to get on the piss again. No harm done.
