Do you reckon he's a good chance being ahead of Hall or Hutchinson for a game?

Probably pretty hard to tell at this stage.

I feel Hutch or Hall are better fits to balance our midfield but Allan is probably closer to what Yeo is
Hutch being 4 years older than bo and 3 years older than hall I would say he is the front runner .

Hutch also 92kgs which bodes well for a physical role .

Clay hall reminds me very much of wilem drew from Port. Picked around the same stage of the draft groomed to play that inside extractor role which is physically demanding. Drew didn't play any meaningful on ball time until his 4th season after he developed in the lower league

Just visited a mate in hospital - still recovering from a car accident and experiencing a lot of lingering soreness and is fed up with the pain. Doctor has recommended he pursues a career as an AFL defender to help speed up his recovery.

Such a stupid post that one ahaha. Unless you’re a seagull flanker that gets a ton of ball, it can be have its challenges on your body. Shep/waters were tough as nails and got smashed (even bunga). Key talls literally wrestle blokes for majority of the game

The hole in the salary cap from Baker?

Cripes,, I haven’t sensed such hatred in a player since …

Baker is an upgrade on any of our small to medium defenders outside of Hough

Yep. All those broken ribs, concussions, etc our backmen incur are obviously just because they're big ol' softies.

Looks like it’s going to pretty easy to go fishing, no need to get the gaff, he brings his own.
We paid the same if not more salary and draft picks that Collingwood paid for Houston and Geelong for bailey Smith.

Those 2 are or could be genuine A graders .

Baker is no A grader and never will be

Perryman is on 900k at Collingwood. Baker is better than Perryman

Maybe provide a source for Houston or Smith, I dont believe Houston is on such little pay

Drew was injured. A lot. Is much harder than Hall who is more of a Stanton type.
I hope we give him some meaningful time in the guts because he can be part of the mid rotation albeit only to the bench.
