Quite impresive from Berry to grab a starting midfield role round one. Quite significant I think to name him there.
I saw him up close at a training session a little while back. He is as hard as a rock, and will cause some havoc as his career progresses.
I felt sorry for his team mates as he wasn't holding back.

But isn't viagra a performance improving drug?

My thoughts are we have slightly better forward line, we have better ruckman, they have slightly better mids, they have slightly better backline. It's going to be close!

This might be the strongest side we'll field all year. Something of a shame that we had a bit of a disrupted pre-season.

But it'll be very disappointing if this team can't at least be competitive.

Good luck to you guys this Saturday. I'm actually looking forward to see how you guys process this year and specially Hipwood. Should be a cracking game, I won't deny that I'm actually nervous because Lions midfield is very very good and a solid ruck. No Riewoldt is great for you guys, sad for us sainters. No brown, no Riewoldt in a lions - saints match in nearly 17-19 years.

Interesting to see Connor Ballenden in the emergencies there.
Might be closer to a debut than most of us think.
A bit of backup in case one of Walker or Hippy go down before the game i guess.

Definitely raised an eyebrow at that one.

I assumed that they consider him the next best KPP. Seem to have chosen a mix of player types

I think we can get them for pace across midfield and down forward.
If we can put enough pressure on around the contest and stop them from being clean then we are in the mix

I'm surprised to see Dunstan left out for the Saints, but then they're well stocked for inside midfielders.

It could be famous last words, but I'm glad to see they've picked a tall forwardline. Our backline might be slightly undersized, but I'm more worried how slow it is. Having Bruce, McCartin and Membrey running around the 50 clogging up space is exactly what we want.

I'm also pretty happy that Martin will only have Longer and Bruce to compete with. He's going to get a lot of space against those two. We might struggle in contested situations but we should more than hold our own in open play.

Dodongo's mail was spot on. Dodongo is confident Dodongo will not lose Dodongo's last nut should Dodongo wish to stake it.
Dodongo's last nut should be publicly guillotined. Perhaps Dodongo has also lost his memory.
Barrett not selected in first round team.
