List Mgmt. Priddis Signs On Again

ahuh, you really have to wonder? I often thought he wasn't allowed to have complete control.. other than the stooge coaches/supports he can pick.
How did this play out? I want Priddis' manager to negotiate my next pay rise? How do the club rationalise this? Seriously, what did they tell even themselves would be the benefit in this?

Boak seems to have taken some good stuff from Dr Ageless there...

it would only make sense if mitchell has notified the club that he will hang up the boots and coach at the of this year.

even then it makes no sense to do the priddis deal in june.

Need fans to start boycotting games to get change from the top
Read the facebook comments and you will realize this is no chance. Iam definitely less interested in games lately with the midfield is playing especially Priddis, i still watch the game but will Potter around the house a bit where before i was glued to the screen.

My oldest daughter saw me moping around and asked what was wrong. After telling her the news, she tried to be positive. She said "At least it is not a 2 year deal".

Wow, now I feel so much better.

"Thanks for asking Mr Vozzo - yes my left arm is feeling great".

Must've visited www.afl.priddis.com to gauge how he's been going.
Multiple times in our best = trigger clause for a 1 year deal. :p

He's even slower this year and seems to have less effect in those mass crowds where he used to thrive. He should've waited til seasons end (and hung up the boots), especially if the second half yields the same stuff.
Clearly it had been pre planned for us to sit down at the mid season break to discuss whether he feels he can go on another year.
If pre planned, it'd be pretty poor to say, nah go away til you've earned a meeting.

Swallow at North & Thompson at Adelaide are eyeing off a spot on our list next year.

Why is everyone assuming he's not just going to be cover next year?

While the timing is odd, I guess the signing was done to offset the negativity surrounding our form.
Kinda hope Geelong flog us at home! Only way that hard decisions will be made is if we continue to perform shit with the same midfield. We aren't doing any damage in finals this year.

The fb comments are horrendous, these people either don't watch games properly or don't care about the club having on field success...

Sick of soft people like this, thinking with their heart and not their head...this isn't a fvcking charity.

Probably at an all time low in regards to my confidence in the club's decision making.

Surprising squashface, don't expect that sort of stuff from you.

And for the record, no, I don't think the timings right, but jumping to the worst conclusion isn't either.
Just taking the piss mate

I do hope you're correct and that's whats happening because otherwise the cupboard is bare on positives from this signing unfortunately.

Oh.

Guess I take BigFooty too seriously then.

Because of every other decision they've made.

Doesn't make much sense for a club to sign on a player who is clearly declining and expect them to be our main midfielder next season.

If it seems stupid to you, why would the club do it other then to provide injury cover?

Why sign someone as injury cover mid season? Wait til post season.

Could still only see out 2017 with a mentoring role at EP in 2018 maybe , this contract probably good will for his service plus Mitchell probably wont continue on and West Coast keeping Matt Priddis .

Yes, hoping it's for insurance. He should not be the main stud in the midfield anymore. I know he's a great professional and all that, and I really hope this extra years contract is just to maintain professional standards amongst the youngsters.

Well, as I said before, possibly to alleviate the negativity of our recent form.

Judging but the Facebook comments it seems to be working for some.
Video was done on the GC, so before the GC game so I doubt that.

What did you think of the decision to play Mitch Brown in the forward pocket in last years elimination final?
