Freo may be our best bet with Johns and even then a 5th rounder/late 4th rounder is where his value is.

Surely even Freo will see that Johns should be playing in the WAFL not the Afl.
U/18 QLD captaincy usually guarantees you a spot on Brisbane's rookie list and I thought that's what was going to happen to him. A bit short and a bit old school is probably his problem. I guess there is a little bit of a resurgence of the nuggetty little rover so that bodes well for him. The new team in Gold Coast might open up a door for him too, but based on what I saw last year I'm not sure he'd be in massively high demand this year.does anyone reckon dayne zorko could have a chance of geting picked up this year as he was i beleive very stiff to not get picked up last year.playing well in the aflq and being captain of his side should give him a chance dont you think?
So Hurley is really the only Key defender that is looking like an AFL ready type player as their are some mid range teams looking at Key Defenders.
How has he been going more recently?Yeah, I would have to agree with you there on that Bond kid.
Sprints like Davey x2
Runs like Harvey
Kicks like Buckley
Handballs like Westy
Marks like J.Brown
What more do you want from a young up and coming superstar.
My prediction is top 30, some might say top 20, but we will soon see.
Whats Swift's disposal like? Wouldn't mind having a more efficient Carrazzo running around.
Very good disposal, probably will be gone by Carlton's pick though as I expect you to be around the 8.
Heyne is already this years Ford/Grant/Martin/Totino except that the love for him is coming from all angles (though the cynic in me says 'all angles' are pretty close together).

Wouldn't be surprised to see him in Gold Coast's inaugural squad down the track being a fine local talent that just plays the game a little different to how AFL is played these days.
Just wondering i herad that DeBoer was bottam age
And also where did he go to school and where did he play.
WC should take Hurley over Yarran if he is available. Take best available not based on need.
how on earth is jack watts not going to go top 3?? had big expectations on this kid for years playing games against him in APS football. came out and had an absolute ripper of a game for victoria metro taking 4 contested marks and kicking 4 goals given the best on ground.
or is he underage? i know hes a year 11 student so it is probably most likely that's why your not including him because one would have thought he would be a certain to go top 3.
