And yet every supplier since polyester prints arrived has not been able to do as good a job as Puma.
I'll give Puma credit for the jersey, the traditional striped jersey was a stunner, especially the Royal Blue, it was very vibrant to really stood out.

Yes and the stripe width and placement highlighted the vibrant colour of royal blue and was key to returning our home strip to the bold and powerful look of the 1970s.

It's interesting that you bring up the 70's because for a majority of the decade we had pinstripes, and a majority of those on the board hate pinstripes, possibly because the last time wore them (2020/21) the pin stripe was way too thick.

Anyway from 1959 to 1972 we had pinstripes, and they returned in 1976 until 1980. :)

The pinstripe in 2020/21 was designed by someone who had never seen a pinstripe in their life.
 
Update on the transition to Kookaburra. Puma are still contracted for next year so speaking to Kookaburra yesterday they are coming in for the 2026!season and be doing both men's and women's

It will be interesting to see how the AFLW kits evolve when they are not all contracted out to one supplier with the same cookie cutter design parameters.
