Yeah, the 2011 member's polo is predominantly maroon, about time too.

Yay, the members polo isn't navy blue and white any more!

I felt pretty disappointed when I saw that this season just gone. Looked like a sea of Carlton supporters.

Was it just me or did the KooGa jumper being used in photos by Jared Polec look very ordinary. I don't know if the colours on it were slightly different or the size of Paddlepop had changed but it looked very Cheap and nasty. It would be interested to see if anyone at the draft saw it and thought similar.

It could also have been the jumper was too big for Polec. But I thought our jumper could get no worse, if last night was anything to go by we are in trouble.

I have always found that quote quite funny/confusing. This will be the first year Essendon ever wear a straight sash, yet they are being respectful of their history?

Their guernsey did get a sash that was way too curved, but they have always had a curved sash, the slight curve looks far better.

The jumper has more blue on it...take a look at the player profile shot of clay beames, the blue is up higher than it seems to be now..

The jumper looks totally ridiculous now IMO....they seem to be getting rid of the majority maroon look..

It was about a 50/50 split of maroon and blue (with the shorts) before, now it's more in favour of the blue. My biggest issue with the current jumper (aside from the lion, of course) is that it is mainly blue on the front and mainly maroon on the back.

Technically, the part behind the lion is maroon (or red) but because of the way the blue goes down to the bottom of the lion, it looks to me like that area would be blue if the lion was not there.

It's just something that bugs the hell out of me.

I just keep looking at the photo of the KooGa jumper and it just looks cheap. We are the laughing stock of the AFL with that jumper, the Puma one wasn't as bad as first thought (Even though I still didn't like it) but the KooGa one looks bad, I hope this isn't the final run for 2011 and the lion gets moved up or something before final print is done for 2011.

I REALLY hope in 12 months we are changing it back to 1997-2009 version.

I actually dont mind the new polo shirt. Start of last year, a few posters were noting how similar our dark navy polo looked to a multitude of clubs. I think I saw a Maroon polo as well which was good but I like how the club has decided to use a different colour.

Mind you it does match our new predominently blue guernsey as well. Maybe that was the motivation behind it.

The polo that Voss wore when onstage with Polec is a joke, predominately blue with just hint a of maroon, looks way more like West Coast's gear.

And on the guernesy, KooGa produce horrible guernseys, the whole shaping of the neck area and cut is horrible. No doubt we got this deal cheap.
