you could tell he never liked Collingwood but I have to admit I loosely followed his progress at the saints and am a bit disappointed he didn’t make it.

That's how it works.Met him when he was a Pie he was a lovely bloke.. but then he deserted us so now he’s swine. Let’s rookie him and make him a good bloke again.
Nah that’s Mission ImpossibleThat's how it works.
You think we could unflog Daisy?
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has warned rival club St Kilda that Nathan Freeman's "problems" will follow him to the Saints if they trade for the former No.10 draft pick.Have you got a link of him saying this?
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has warned rival club St Kilda that Nathan Freeman's "problems" will follow him to the Saints if they trade for the former No.10 draft pick.
Buckley did not say whether the "problems" he was referring to were purely related to Freeman's body or otherwise.
"The fact that we haven't been able to find out what sort of footballer he can be is the disappointing thing. Nathan has a part to play in where that's come about," Buckley said at the AFL Coaches Association awards on Tuesday night.
"Some of his problems will go with him, wherever he goes, and he'll have to remedy those. But we're pretty comfortable in the fact that we've provided the right environment for him."

I’m a bit perplexed, you might be right, wonder if he gets picked upThere has got to more to this story than just dodgy hammies...
I think a fair few people took his comment that way as well. Yet with the way things are these days, plenty will choose to interpret it that he was referring to some off-field issue. To me Bucks comment sounded like Freeman having issues trusting his hamstring and letting go and going 100%
Unbelievable how injury prone out two draftees that year turned out to be
That's exactly what he meant, Bucks IMO thought most of Freemans issues were in his head, and you're in the wrong game if that's the case.To me Bucks comment sounded like Freeman having issues trusting his hamstring and letting go and going 100%
He definitely said it Magic man.Have you got a link of him saying this?

I don't want to sound like a heartless prick even if I am one but....
All those replies wishing him the best and saying he was hard done by...
WTF....
Do we forget about real people when it comes to sportspeople......
The guy is in his early 20's and has already made over a million dollars for playing two games of football....
And he gets sympathy.......
Buy a guy who is on the dole and can't get a job gets demonised.....
FMD...
A little bit of karma after how he left us. That said though it was wise to delay what would have been season ending shoulder surgery to press his claims for a contract extension; at least he's now managed to play a couple of AFL games and done ok, which is more than a lot of draftees can say. That exposure may also earn him a gig somewhere else.
That’s probably the reason why they can’t afford to carry him. With such an ordinary list, you need to make each pick/rookie spot worth it.Saints should rookie him. Its not as if they have an elite list and cant afford to carry him.

He will play VFL
