Laird had 14 clearances, 8 tackles and 20 contested against Geelong. Yeah his kicking isn't good but whoever he feeds it out to isnt much better, he will and should stay in the midfield. He was terrible the last time he was at HB to the point we played him HF before moving him into the midfield.

I'm not overly fussed. I wouldn't mind us going after pick 3 instead of Essendon. Not saying we should tank but we should be picking a team for the future. This will achieve both aims of getting games into players we should be and getting a decent pick.

He’s completely broken. Wouldn’t be surprised if he retired before next season tbh.

He can't retire. Well he could but he wouldnt get a majority of his remaining lucrative contract. Maybe they can negotiate a settlement that's mutually beneficial for both parties. The other option is if we can find him a trade and pay a portion of his wage.

The most promising thing the season hands down after the recruitment of Dawson and protection for those in power like Dictators and AFL umpires ( just the first one really)..I see him being better than Rachelle on what I have seen..yet little talking him up. Gonna be a great player. Tough and skillful. Unlike tough yet less skilled Murphy and McHenry. Rowet is just footy aware.. can't snap goals from 30m out.

That's the worry... when it is the perfect time to play younger players like Worrell.

Nope. Laird gets too many goals kicked on him down back.

Jones replaces Brown in the shutdown role and Parnell comes in.

Keays and Laird can still play in the mids but they should not be attending 90% of CBA's. No reason they can't rotate off half forward some of the time.

Crouch needs to go. Permanently.

Hately and Berry to keep doing what they are doing and Rachele/Soligo to have small stints in there.

Ideally Schoenberg sorts his form out and he comes into the side as a 5th mid.

With more mids rotating in the forward line we could afford to get rid of two of Rowe/McHenry/Murphy.

Delist?… he’s contracted till the end of 23 so he wont be getting delisted this year..

And they are currently playing him as a forward in the SANFL so it looks like they are trying to see if they can get that to work before giving up on him..

And he played 10 games in 2020 so “without ever playing him” is a lie..

I had genuinely forgotten all about those games. Hopefully he gets another crack at it before the year ends.

From what i have seen of Worrall in the SANFL, I rate him highly. Cant see why he hasn't had a go. That left foot has good penetration in it.
