Yeah there's some fkd shit out there. It's not just the shock videos or the bullying, kids are falling into radicalisation pipelines, and exposed to a general misguided sense of what's appropriate to say or do in public and what will hurt another person.

My girls are too young to be online so far, but it's a real concern moving forward.

Internet safety, media literacy, and nurturing a sharp and resilient mind are more crucial for parents than ever.

Whenever I try to get someone out of a bad internet pipeline (spiral?) my first step is to get them to literally touch grass and have real interactions with real people. Join clubs. Pick up a hobby, etc.

Makes sense that it's hella important for kids, too.
