No he referred to the Israeli government supporting and arming Jihadists including ISIS. You call this a lie based but the governments of sides you don't support have claimed it is the case for over a decade. That may be their propaganda and untrue or it may be correct but you're calling him a racist on the basis of propaganda you believe, stuff put out by a country that lies about murdering children and bombing hospitals, not on any facts you can provide.

As far as those rebel groups go - they've all signed on together, with one notable exception in the North, under the leadership of that extremist.

And said extremist has said the Northern Kurds are next, not in that many words but obviously saying wtte of "only the state (that we now control) can be armed" means his sights are now on "disarming" the Kurds.

Absolutely lots could go wrong.

But these reports of beheadings have not been verified to my knowledge. Too much of the info coming out about the anti Assad forces are coming from Russia aligned sources.

I’m acknowledging this could be very very very bad, and that these dodgy sources may be correct. But imo we’re not there yet.

I’ve spoken to a couple of people about the beheading videos (I’m not watching) and there’s no way to verify if it’s from the past month.

It appears the attack on the Alowite shrine happened in the last five weeks, even tho its referred to as an "old" attack now. Even the new Syrian gov acknowledges it is that recent. Its claimed it was carried out by "unknown" attackers. Which sounds like "it wasn't us, honest" but could be true that they have no knowledge of it. No beheadings but people were murdered.

So its recent.

Honestly it could end up a good thing but at this stage we just don't know.

Israel has been accused of supplying more than small arms to ISIS since at least a decade ago when defeated ISIS units were claimed to be using Israeli artillery shells.

At the time they also provided medical support to Syrians with no questions asked. This means civilians and any number of different rebels received medical treatment and aid from israel. Israel facilitated US weapons transfers to Syria as well as supplying its own weapons and weapons captured from or meant for Hezbollah. It would have launched thousands of raids against Syrian and particularly against Iranian forces over the period based on comments made by Israeli officials on the number of raids they made in particular years.

And it lied about all of this saying none of it was happening for years.

Yet you expect people to believe to believe Israeli sources now and no doubt will claim its anti-semitism or racism if they don't.

But where I suspect that you and I differ is how we want to end this conflict and make sure Putin understands he cannot continue to escalate the war, especially when it comes to nuclear weapons.

I suspect you and I defer is I don’t think the juice is always worth the squeeze, arming radicals to over throw governments is never a good idea, especially when there’s little or no plan to rebuild afterwards. And the little cash that’s on offer gets stolen or misappropriated into western politics.
Ruling over the rubble isn’t an effective endpoint. Which has been repeated over and over again in the ME.

It’s still the best place for breaking news. You just have to keep it on the people you follow rather than the “for you”, which in my case because I follow a lot of people on both sides left/right and at the moment I am focusing almost all my attention on the genocide and the Russian invasion, it shows me Nazi shit and Russian propaganda and ironically American propaganda.
