The experience of Romani in Ukraine has been horrific.

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia will lead to immense suffering and that state must be pushed back.

Not just in Ukraine, nor is it a problem unique to Ukraine.

Hell, I would go so far as to say there's multiple European countries that treated Romani populations much worse than Ukraine, by and large.

I'm not suggesting two wrongs make a right. Just that it's a pretty lousy excuse to support/defend a Russian invasion of Ukraine.

We're going round in circles here. They use their sovereignty to deny citizenship to people who should have citizenship and they use the powers of the state to support and assist pogroms.

We don't assist West Papua, Eritrea and we armed the Saudis while they starved the people of Yemen. We didn't support any of those people. Why? Cause they weren't racist enough?

When you said if we tied our support of Ukraine to them changing their racist behaviour and making visible efforts to treat their own people fairly (and become a non racist state) I said I'd support that. As I've done previously. This is the 376th time I've said this.
